Template notice: This is a starting-point draft, not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review and finalize it before relying on it.

Our role

ClipKing is a tool that runs in your browser. We do not host, store, or distribute user recordings on our servers — your clips live on your own device. Because of this, there is generally no content on our systems for us to take down. Responsibility for any recorded content rests with the user who created it.

If you believe your rights are infringed

If you believe someone is using ClipKing to infringe your copyright, or that infringing material is associated with our service, you may send a notice including:

  • your contact information;
  • identification of the copyrighted work;
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it can be found;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

Designated contact

Send copyright notices to the copyright contact listed on the site. (Before launch, set a real designated agent / email here and, in the U.S., consider registering a DMCA agent with the Copyright Office.)

Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices.
