Your clips and projects stay in your browser
ClipKing records and edits video locally. Your recordings, projects, and edits are stored in your own browser (IndexedDB and the Origin Private File System). They are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use. If you clear your browser storage, that data is gone.
Stream lookups
When you add a channel, ClipKing asks our server to look up that channel's public information and stream URL from the relevant platform, and proxies the video so it can play in your browser. We do not store the channels you watch beyond what is needed to serve the request.
Favorites and settings
Your favorites and preferences are saved in your browser's local storage on your device, not on our servers.
Accounts and membership
If you create an account or buy a membership, we collect the information needed to provide it — such as your email address and billing details. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers. We use this information only to operate your account and membership.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the product. Configure or disable any analytics details here before launch.
Your choices
You can delete your local data by clearing your browser storage. If you have an account, you can request deletion of your account data through the support channel.
